With the release of the new Swash app on the horizon, we’re taking a moment to pause and celebrate how much Swash has grown.

What began as a humble technical experiment back in 2019 has since evolved into a movement for data ownership, driven by a community of over 90,000 app users, an array of leading Web 3 partners and advisors, and the successful launch of the $SWASH token at the end of October.

🎁 The Swash team are excited to announce that we are giving $250K worth of $SWASH to those of you who made extra effort to take part in the IDO!

Over 45,000 people registered for whitelisting on Fractal and over 2000 people took part and placed bids during the IDO, which took place at 00:00:01 on October 29 until 23:59:59 on October 30.

We appreciate your enthusiasm and how you wanted to get involved early and support Swash, despite the historically high gas fees. This immense airdrop is our way of saying thank you.

🌟 Who is eligible?

💸 The airdrop will be divided into two:

• $200K worth of $SWASH distributed to people who whitelisted for the IDO on Fractal between October 11–30 2021 (47211 people)
• $50K worth of $SWASH to people who placed a bid in the IDO (2426 people)

This airdrop is different to the existing giveaway and reward programs. If you are not eligible for any of these, don’t worry — you can still earn $SWASH while using the app and can participate in the referral program.

⚡️ If you’re eligible, here’s what you need to do: ️

1.
When the new version of the Swash app goes live on Thursday at 6pm UTC, sign up using the same email that you used to whitelist with Fractal.

If you have already downloaded the Swash app, you will need to complete the onboarding process again to upgrade to the latest version. Here, you will be asked to provide your email to verify your profile.

It’s important that you sign up to the new version of Swash app to be eligible!

2.
Once you have completed the onboarding process, make sure the app is switched on. You can check this by opening the pop-up in your browser and checking that the ‘on/off’ toggle is green.

The app must be switched on for the duration of one month from the day the app goes live until December 31 2021 to receive your full airdrop amount. If not, you will only receive your daily $SWASH for the duration that it is switched on.

3.
That’s it! Your $SWASH tokens will be sent to your Swash app wallet every day over the course of one month, shown in the ‘Wallet’ section of the app.

❗️You will be able to withdraw your $SWASH after one month of using the version of the app and once your balance is more than 10 $SWASH❗️
