Since 2017, IoTeX has been building the “Internet of Trusted Things” — an open ecosystem where all people, machines, and businesses can interact with each other with guaranteed trust and privacy. Their new MachineFi vision seeks to use blockchain as a trusted foundation to secure, exchange, and monetise the intelligence and resources from machines, and more importantly deliver this value to everyday people, not corporations.
With over 100 billion internet-connected machines expected by 2030, McKinsey estimates that machines will outnumber humans by 10:1 and generate up to $12.6 trillion in economic value.
